This article provides a roundup of the new features released in ShowHouse over the last month.
- All notes, including sales notes, can now be edited and deleted for 15 minutes after they have been added. Although we restrict modifications after this period in order to preserve the audit trail on all note activity, we realise people still make mistakes when adding notes and this 15 minute window should allow for these to be rectified.
- A new rent due report highlights rent which was applied and is due on the current date, as well as a rolling view of all rent due right up to the end of the next month.
- Various pages have been optimised to improve their loading time. Some pages, e.g. the vacant property report, were taking too long to load and this was impacting the user experience. We will continue to identify slow-performing pages and improve load time over the coming weeks and months. If you identify any pages which are taking too long on your own account day-to-day, please let us know by raising a support ticket.
- Development and testing is nearing completion on our imminent overhaul of the way rent is applied automatically by the system. While the end results will be the same as at present, we've recognised usability issues with certain areas of rent application over the last few months, and will be making these much easier to use. We'll be sending out an email with some tutorials in the next week or two, so watch out for these...
