Clickable statement entries
When viewing tenant or property statements, it may not always be immediately clear what a certain item relates to. You can now click on any line entry to view that record, without having to go to the transaction reports and identify the item that way (which you still can, if you wish).
Where did it come from, where did it go?
With so many transactions occurring within your agency on a daily or weekly basis, charges being applied for this and that, and rental income being paid out regularly to landlords (often across multiple properties) it's easy to lose sight of what money has come from where, and more importantly, where it has it gone.
Following from the clickable statement entries above, for example, you can also view and trace all credits and charges on a property. If rental income shows on an account, you can click that to see which tenant receipt it relates to, and you will also see a management charge relating to that receipt, if applicable. Similarly, if you see a management charge, you can clearly identify which receipt it relates to.
Where property and tenant charges have been paid, you can see which payments have been allocated to these charges, and remove payments again if you need to.
Modify charge descriptions and values
Sometimes a charge or transaction's description may not be suitable on reflection, especially when you see it on the tenant or landlord's statement. You can now update a description afterwards. Indeed, if no payments have yet been received against a charge (or rent) you can update full details of this charge including the value and the date. This saves having to delete the entry and re-enter it, as was previously the case.
