Think of the time spent answering basic, repetitive calls from landlords regarding their property balances, payments made and upcoming, and the status of maintenance jobs. Granting landlords (limited) access to the system using their own login accounts can greatly reduce the amount of time spent dealing directly with them.
Grant Access
To grant access to the system for a landlord, go to that landlord's record, and click Landlord > Login Account from the menu. If the landlord has an email address set, you can click to Grant Access.
The landlord will be sent an email with their access details (web address, and password, to be used along with their email address). The login address is the same as for your agency, but the system will automatically detect that the user is a landlord, and restrict their access when they login. The landlord will be prompted to set a new password when they log in for the first time.
Read-Only View
The data accessible by the landlord will be restricted to read-only, so they cannot change anything on the system, and the data shown is obviously limited only to their own properties.
- List of properties
- Statements per property
- List of public notes against each property (private notes are hidden)
- List of payments made to the landlord
- List of maintenance jobs
- List of viewings against properties
Revoke Access
If you wish to remove a landlord's access to the system at a later date, you can click the Revoke Access button on the Landlord > Login Account page.
