You can choose to pay individual landlords by from their individual record, or can you view all landlords with balances available to pay out.
- View all landlords with balances available to pay out via the Accounting > Landlord Payments screen (below).
- By default the Balance Date is set to the current date and will show all current balances on this date. However, you can reload this to any date in the past to see the balances on that date.
- Click a landlord to make a payout.
Each time you make a payout to a landlord you will automatically be redirected to this overall list of landlord balances for payout so that you can quickly make another payout to the next entry in the list, e.g. at month-end when you are processing many landlord payouts together.
The client ledger shows all credit and charges in the client bank account for this landlord's properties. This will typically show rent income collected from tenants and awaiting payout.
The office ledger shows all charges due from the landlord to the agency along with any credit/overpayments held on the office account for the landlord (typically zero). The charges are usually made up of property management charges, letting fees and maintenance expenses due to suppliers.
You can also opt to receive funds from a landlord via the Receive Payment button.
