In this step, we recommend adding a couple of landlords, properties and tenants. In our videos we use obvious sample data such as Larry Landlord and Tommy Tenant, but it will make more sense for you if you use some actual landlord, property and tenant details. Things will feel more real if you can readily identify with the records you are adding.
Then we'll explore how to update and maintain all the various data which your agency stores against these records. For example, for landlords and tenants, try updating contact details and defining preferences.
We'll create a property against a landlord, and show how additional property information such as marketing descriptions are added, how to upload photos, and we explore key management activities such as assigning keys, organising viewings, and tracking certificates for compliance.
Finally we'll see how to delete and archive records if you make mistakes or are simply finished with particular properties or people.
