Each key record, e.g. a property, landlord, tenant, buyer, supplier, may have important summary or key information which needs to be displayed prominently when a user views that record.
For example, a memo may be used to highlight that a tenant has suffered a recent bereavement and should not be chased for arrears for a period, or that a property is only available for viewing after 6pm or at weekends.
You can now edit a memo on the overview screen, as many times as you wish, and this will also be shown on relevant forms, such as adding a viewing.
Additionally, if a related record has a memo this will be highlighted alongside that linked entry. For example, if a landlord has a memo, then on the property screen the landlord link will show a memo icon to highlight this.
This single memo replaces a number of existing fields such as viewing notes, and sales fee notes. If you had existing notes stored in those fields, we have automatically migrated them into the new memo format for you.
