Your agency (and accountant) will regularly want to know how much revenue is being generated in relation to property management activity.
This will include letting fees, tenancy setup or renewal charges, and property management fees applied (often automatically) in relation to rent collection.
You can see a list of all invoices generated via the system via the All Invoices Charged report.
STEP-BY-STEP
- Go to Reports > Accounting, and select the All Invoices Charged report from the Rent and Charges section.
- Filter the report by invoice status, date range, and charge type as appropriate.
- You can export the invoice data in CSV format, or in a file ready for import into Xero, if you use that popular accounting package. Click on Options > Export (CSV).
